The curriculum is aimed at building a complete painting skill set, targeted for work in fields like concept art, illustration, environment design, color key, etc. It will guide you through fundamental drawing, but focuses heavily on the digital painting skills that pro artists need.
You'll get 8 weeks' worth of high-intensity art training:
Week 1: A simple system of values (that I use in every painting!)
Week 2: Understanding the link between light and color temperature
Week 3: The “rules” of composition
Week 4: Color studies - Capturing a believable sense of place
Week 5: Characters
Week 6: Creating an illustration - Workflows
Week 7: Creating an illustration - Completion
Week 8: Materials and wrap-up tips
Each week's lecture is ~ 2.5 hours, with an extensive homework assignment that you may complete at your own leisure. You'll also receive the 2.5 hour audited critique session of actual previous student work. In total you will get approximately 40 hours of educational content.

Who is this mentorship for?
The lessons are best suited for the intermediate artist and higher - or anyone looking to refine some pre-existing drawing and painting skill, toward a professional polish.
What software do you use, and is the program software-specific?
I use Photoshop for my demonstrations, but no specific software is required to apply the lessons. The tools and principles can even be applied to traditional media!
You will receive a brushpack that contains many of my commonly-used brushes (ABR format.)
Does this come with a personal critique?
No, this is the pre-recorded (audited) mentorship program. You will be able to watch my critiques of other students' work, however, to gain a sense for how to also improve your own work. I do have personal critiques available on my store as a separate purchase.
